Infant of Prague Statue - Royal Child King Reigns 16" Tall
In the 1620s a tiny wax statue, barely a foot high, arrived as a wedding gift to a Spanish noblewoman in Bohemia. When war stripped the family bare, a humble Carmelite friar heard a Child’s voice: “Have pity on Me, and I will have pity on you. Give Me hands, and I will give you peace.” The friar restored the broken arms ~~ and the miracles began. Armies turned back, plagues ceased, and kings themselves knelt before the little wax Infant who wore real velvet and jewels.
